A Practice Room for Better Chart Decisions

Learn how Backup Anchorbase approaches Fibonacci retracement training, instructor-led chart replay, risk language, and responsible technical analysis education in Davao City.

Why Backup Anchorbase exists

Backup Anchorbase began as a small Davao chart-review circle built around one recurring problem: traders could name every Fibonacci ratio but struggled to explain why a particular swing deserved the anchors. The circle became a structured teaching practice focused on visible decisions rather than perfect hindsight examples.

Our mission is narrow: help developing traders read retracements in context, state invalidation before outcome, and preserve enough evidence to review their own process.

The instructor

Lead facilitator Mara Villanueva has delivered technical analysis workshops and peer chart reviews since 2018. Her teaching concentrates on market structure, replay exercises, and journal design. She does not manage participant funds, provide brokerage introductions, or sell entry signals.

Working principles

Structure before ratio. A high and low must be meaningful on the chart before Fibonacci divides the distance.

Failed examples stay in the pack. Learners need to see clean levels break and valid setups lose.

Risk language remains explicit. Every exercise separates analysis, hypothetical execution, and personal financial decisions.

Questions are welcome; certainty is not performed. When two anchors are credible, we label the ambiguity and test both.

Davao roots, broad markets

Classroom labs are held in Davao City and use liquid-market historical examples chosen for clear replay. Online sessions welcome participants elsewhere in the Philippines, subject to schedule and connectivity. All instruction is in English.
