Inside the practical lab

How the Lab Runs

See the practical sequence used in Backup Anchorbase Fibonacci retracement training, from unlabelled swing selection to replay and journal review.

No polished hindsight chart at the start

Participants receive an unlabelled chart segment. Before plotting a ratio, they identify the directional leg, surrounding market structure, and any alternate anchor another reader could reasonably defend.

Tools at the table

Bring a laptop, charger, and a demonstration charting account. We supply the printed workbook, replay files, pencils, straightedges, and anonymised journal examples. Classroom exercises never require access to a brokerage or live funds.

What the instructor watches

The facilitator listens for the reason behind each line. “Because it is 61.8%” is incomplete; the group must connect location to structure and define what price behaviour would confirm or reject the idea.

Leaving the room

Every participant leaves with marked exercises, a blank decision sheet, and a short practice sequence for the next 14 days. Feedback covers one submitted exercise, not live trade calls.

Session rhythm

Mark. Defend. Replay. Review.

Opening drill

Identify impulse legs on unlabelled charts and compare anchors before any ratios appear.

Replay desk

Advance price one segment at a time while keeping entry conditions and invalidation fixed.

Red-ink review

Annotate what was observable, what was assumed, and what belongs in the next journal entry.
